Paul Kades, Writer
Started off in Church as writer, actor and director, later formed Drama and information committee involved in edutainment at the Nairobi youth center. With the acquired skills started acting at KBC in Vitimbi and Vioja Mahakamani.
Years later featured in a TV series The Team, aired on Citizen TV then SAFE an international organization. With Safe went on to appear in international and local movies amongst them Nairobi Half-life, Ndoto za Elibidi, Kibera Kid amongst others.
We started Anno’s Africa - One Fine Day, training kids on creative writing skills and as actors. I pioneered Shujaaz magazine a Nation-wide comic aimed at inspiring the youth to work towards success. I have worked with Radio Waumini and currently a radio presenter with Radio Jambo and Radio Maisha, doing a youth programme.
Currently working with NBO MTI musical team as a trainee in writing direction and producing Musicals. In the years I have worked with the initiative I have grown professionally creative wise, in writing and producing stage shows. I have interacted with great musicians actors, and producers hence growing my art industry network.
Benjamin Kabaseke, Composer
Kabaseke is a seasoned East African multi-instrumentalist, session musician, singer and songwriter. He has worked with major artists such as Eric Wainaina, Sauti Sol and Jose Chameleon to name a few.
He has also toured extensively internationally, with his most recent work being a reading of the musical "Kabaseke” at the Kampala International Theatre Festival, which is a story of his journey as a musician.
Vinny Ngugi, Composer
Vinny is a singer/songwriter based in Nairobi, Kenya. He most recently travelled with his musical, Kabaseke to the Kampala International Theatre Festival.
He has performed extensively in Nairobi, most notably at Eric Wainaina’s Live At The Elephant (LATE). He is part of a duo-singing group, TeleVision, with composer-songwriter, Timothy Arinaitwe.
